Favorite Activity
Have students tie a string to the handles of a supermarket bag. It flies like a kite (only easier), and it's easy to make!
We also make watercolor kites and write a story about a kite using stickers!

L Leprechauns
Leprechaun Hats
Students decorate headbands with diecut shamrocks, loaded with glitter and jewels!
My Favorite Leprechaun activity is...
When the Leprechauns come and mess up our classroom, but leave treats!
I start the day before by telling the students that we have to be on the lookout for Leprechauns. They are sneaky and quick, and they leave messes, but if they leave a mess, they also leave treats!
While my students are out of the classroom, I mess all the stuff up, hiding a green bucket with chocolate gold coins, peppermint patties, or green peppermints inside. The students expressions are priceless.
